Berney Song

One year ago today I lost one of my best friends on this planet. We grew up and played baseball together. Words can't describe what Bryan Berney meant to me, or how I'm feeling today as I release this song...the same song I wrote last year on the day he passed. Bryan was my brother, a true friend, and my biggest supporter. He loved without limits, and always put others before himself. I can only aspire to that level of humility and grace, and I'm thankful everyday for the chance to know him. Raise a glass and toast to the best man we know...this one's for Bryan. ~LKC

FOLK ROCKER

It amazes me how many people think that being a full-time musician isn't a "real" job. The truth is, I have never worked half as hard for anything in my life, and NOTHING has ever been even a fraction as fulfilling as following my ‪#‎PersonalLegend‬ to play music. Infinite thanks to all the people who support this passion, this dream, this reality. I had two great shows in ‪#‎Elko‬ this weekend, and I can't wait for the next thousand more! ‪#‎FolkRocker‬ ‪#‎GeologistTurnedMusician‬ ‪#‎HumanBeing‬

The End of 2015

In 2015 I traveled 28,310 driving miles, 17,292 flight miles, and 2,100 public transportation miles totaling 47,702 total miles.

I've played 188 shows (more if you include busking, private performances, etc) in 17 states which equals out to more than one show EVERY OTHER DAY since January 1st.

I've played small living rooms and big baseball stadiums to high-end restaurants and a huge boat!

I've spent good time with old friends around the country that I haven't seen in ages, and made countless new friendships that I hope to grow for many years to come.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every person who has come out to a show, bought a T-Shirt or CD, shared with me in great conversation, or has supported me in any way.

2015 was a monumental year for me and my music, and I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you along way. Happy New Year everyone...I love you to life!

I would like to announce the creation of my new band Liam Kyle Cahill & The Goodnight Sons! Hometown shows are always the best and I really want to pack the place, so tell a friend to tell a friend and come be a part of this unforgettable kick-off to my next musical chapter! (Click HERE for Facebook Event link)

Also, I want to encourage you to sign up for my mailing list if you haven't already. I've toured pretty hard in 2015, and I always want to keep you up to speed on my next show in your town. As a way to show my thanks for doing so, I will be giving you a FREE copy of my first EP Ode To Wisconsin. John Craigie says that "October is the kindest month," and I would have to agree...cheers! ~Liam

Bedell Guitar Sponsorship & Earthsong Tour

What a year 2015 has been already! After nearly 150 shows and lots and lots and lots of miles, I figured it might be time to get my butt back out there and do it again! This time, I'm heading back to the Pacific Northwest with my good buddy Travis Hayes out of San Francisco, CA.

And I won't be going empty handed either. My hard work has caught the attention of the premium guitar builders over at Bedell Guitars in Bend, OR. These beautiful guitars not only look good and sound amazing, they are also completely sustainable! Each individual guitar can be traced back to show you exactly where its wood was harvested...and that's pretty darn rad!

I'm so happy with this new guitar, I can't wait to show it off to the world! Come on out to one of these shows near you and hear it for yourself. And if you don't live in the Northwest, you can check out my YouTube for more music, or send me a message to make sure I get back to your town soon!

Just Announced: East Coast Devastation Tour

Right now I'm prepping for yet another milestone...my first tour of the East Coast. I hope to reach new audiences where lasting relationships are created because we shared an intimate evening of music. But here's the honest truth...I don't know very many people in these cities where I will be playing and I need you to help me get the word out!

Message an old friend who moved away to say you miss them...and then tell them I'm coming to town and they should meet me as your replacement.

Call your distant family member to remind them that you love them...you love them so much that you couldn't bare the thought of them missing one of my shows when they were SO CLOSE to it!

Feel free to get on Facebook and invite them to the Official Facebook Event. Word of mouth works too...usually better.

Here are the details. I can't wait to see you, your friends, and your distant relatives I never could have met otherwise!! Cheers!! ~Liam

The Key To Happiness (Deluxe Edition) w/Deluxe Lyric Book

What a year this has been!!! My 2014 release of The Key To Happiness has been so successful, that I've decided to release a Deluxe Edition with two (2) bonus tracks from Happiness Recording Sessions in 2013. These are NOT B-side tracks, but rather gems in their own right that did not quite fit the feel of the original record. But don't take my word for it...give them a listen at liamkylecahill.bandcamp.com!

Since so many folks already have The Key To Happiness, I've decided to release this Deluxe Edition for ONLY $2 on it's June 30th release date. That means anyone who already had the album can get the new tracks for the fair price of two bucks, but it also gives new fans an opportunity to pull the trigger on some new music! In fact, anyone can also purchase and gift these digital tracks via liamkylecahill.bandcamp.com as well!

The last cool thing I want to announce is this sweet little lyric book that I've been putting together for over a year. I've felt for a while now that there has been something missing from our digital age of music, something that I treasured as a kid...WRITTEN SONG LYRICS. That's why I teamed up with 12 artists from all over the country who have created unique art inspired by each of the 15 songs on the The Key To Happiness Deluxe Edition, and we've paired that with my own lyrics for you to enjoy in this 6x9" visual presentation. To top it off, we've only printed 50 copies and I have signed and hand numbered each copy. Get yours today, along with any other merch items, at LiamKyleCahill.com/Store.

Lots of love,
Liam Kyle Cahill

Eighty-Five Shows & Counting

I've never worked so hard, nor been as proud of anything in my life compared to what I've been able to accomplish these first six-months of pursuing music full time. I left a good paying job in exploration geology, a field that I went to school for, for something that I truly feel is my Personal Legend. I was made to do this...every bone in my body tells me so.

So here I am mid-June and I've already played 85 shows across 7 West Coast states. On this last tour alone I drove 4,370 miles and flew another 2,000 between 30 show destinations. Certainly not a bad number, but still a little behind if I am to succeed in my #QuestFor200! That's right, I've made my own hashtag to remind people of the goal that I've made and to make sure that I achieve it. I want you to hold me to it. Hell, I want to hold me to it!

And if 200 shows wasn't a lofty enough goal, I'm getting ready for my biggest challenge yet: To tour the entire East Coast. I've teamed up with Leesta Vall booking agency to tackle this beast for the first time. I plan to sing my songs from New Hampshire down to Tampa, Florida and I still have a few dates open for house shows along the way! If you, or anyone you know is interested in hosting a house show on the East Coast, please send me an email at liamkylemusic@gmail.com and we can talk details! ~LKC

Sunrise (20 Years)

Twenty years ago today (Mother's Day 1995), I lost my mother to drug addiction. It's impossible to fathom the ways my life has been altered as a result, but through the strength of my family (especially my father), I have become the man you see before you. I have learned to overcome insecurity and fear from the incredible love of those that constantly surround me. Don't ever underestimate the role you play in someone else's life...love and be loved. ~Liam
