Today my girlfriend Colleen and I leave the west coast headed for Massachusetts. Colleen is, in a word, amazing. She is leaving behind her old life of being a small business owner and part time university employee for her dream job of teaching mindfulness and meditation full time at the UMASS Center For Mindfulness in Worchester, Massachusetts.
At a transitional point in my own life, I am lucky to have recently been afforded the free time to make the trip with her, see the east coast for myself, and figure out my next move. For now, the plan is take HWY 40 across the south until we get past Nashville, TN and then take I-81 North. There’s lots of beautiful country between here and there, and we plan to take it all in.
