This is Jack. I've known Buddy Jack...pretty much forever. Dating back several past lives I'm sure.Jack had a dream wedding this past weekend: Simple and elegant with only the closest friends and family of the bride and groom in attendance. I was not just honored but ecstatic to be asked to perform the song for his first dance with Brittany.
When Jack asked me to perform "Overwhelmed" by Tim McMorris, I thought for sure the song must have been about planning and orchestrating a wedding. Turns out it was actually written about being "overwhelmed" by love.
The song wasn't necessarily one that I would have picked out of a lineup, but I was up for the challenge! I decided to add more "umph" to the track by belting out the last chorus and including (for the first time ever) a kick drum to be used by yours truly.
