Three days down on our trip across the country, and boy do we get to spend it in good company! Colleen and I got into Conway, Arkansas and received nothing but southern hospitality!Good friends Paul and Tessa Schwering drove in from Little Rock to have a fun-filled food extravaganza at John and Beverley Bergstrom's house! There really is nothing like spending quality time with good people and we got lucky!
If you don't know my background with the Bergstroms, I have been incredibly good friends with their daughter Natalie for over a decade now. She and I are so close actually, that I wrote and performed a song at her wedding called "Flame Of Love."
One of the most beautiful and meaningful songs that I think I've ever written, "Flame Of Love" is a tribute to Natalie and Jade King at the very moment they lit their unity candle and began their lives for each other. This is among the most incredible things I've ever been a part of, and to these great people I raise my glass and sing! Cheers!
