Guitar Center's Singer Songwriter 4 Competition

Things are moving quickly! With only weeks left in my daytime job as a geolgist, I'm gearing up for a short tour of Nevada & California in late October with San Francisco songwriter Travis Hayes. More details to come on that, but first I have a HUGE contest to win!

Guitar Center's Singer Songwriter 4 competition just finished it's third week and I was at the top of the list for new artists this week! With close to 3200 video views already, I'm in 18th place and guaranteed a spot in the next round which is entirely based on our impressions upon Don Was, Colbie Caillat, and the rest of the judging panel...PRETTY DARN COOL!!!!!!

If chosen from there, they will fly me to The Troubadour in West Hollywood for the finals. Each finalist gets a boat load of really awesome gear (including a Bose PA, a Gibson guitar, and a Martin Guitar) and HUGE AMOUNTS OF EXPOSURE!!!

Do you want to help me make it to the finals? Please come back to the site often, watch my videos, and share the link with your 100 closest friends! I'm not banking my entire music career on this one competition, but it would be a hell of a jump start! Thanks again and I'll see you all at a show soon.

CD Release & Reno For Nikos

Good news: We have set The Key To Happiness CD Release date for June 21st at Bodega Nightclub in Reno, NV! In conjunction with the release, I have created Reno For Nikos, a non-profit organization for Nikos Theologitis. I am really excited to combine my CD Release with a wonderful cause such as this.

Nikos is a good friend of mine who unfortunately is battling cancer for a second time, and I wanted to do something special to help. For any donations, we have created a donate button on the main page of my website. Also, If you know any businesses who are interested in sponsoring, please have them call or email any of the contacts listed in the letter below.

Thank you to all of our contributors so far, and please help us get the word out! Share this link to help make our event a huge success!

Day 31 - Reno Tahoe Tonight Magazine - Pans & Pickpockets Blog

Today I'm going to blog about a blog and a magazine article that I was fortunate enough to get great write ups in!

The first write up I received was in Reno Tahoe Tonight magazine, where editor & publisher Oliver X did a special one page segment about my Indiegogo campaign and how to contribute to my new album The Key To Happiness. The magazine always flies off the shelves in a hurry to get yourself a copy while you still can!

Oliver has a huge presence in all things Reno and has recently taken a huge liking to me and my music after first booking me for a songwriting showcase back in January at Swill Coffee & Wine. We have since developed a professional relationship and a personal friendship that is ever growing, and I'm lucky to know such a stand-up guy!

Then there's Ally Siwajian at Pans & Pickpockets. Ally wrote a fantastical (tm) article along with five interview questions about my music and what it means to follow your dreams.

Ally is a Reno transplant who is making a name for herself as a writer in L.A. I met Ally freshman year in the dorms while attending a local Christian group together. We became fast friends with our joyous outlook on life and our love for music. I am proud to see Ally succeeding at what she loves to do...and true to my word I'll try to do the same!

Last day to pre-order The Key To Happiness is Monday, November 25th at 11:59pm! Contributions start at $1 and keep going 'til your pockets get empty! ;)
